What the Daily Rate Covers

Every Odyssey rental includes comprehensive insurance, road tax, unlimited mileage and full mechanical servicing. Breakdown and towing support runs 24 hours a day. If the car needs servicing partway through a longer booking, we swap in a replacement MPV so you are not left three seats short in the middle of a trip. Every car is deep cleaned between rentals.

Driver and Document Requirements

You need a valid Class 3 or 3A driving licence, your NRIC or a passport with a valid pass, and a credit card for the security deposit. The minimum driver age is 24, with at least two years of driving experience.

When to Book

Seven seat MPVs run short during school holidays and long weekends, because many Singapore families want seven seats on the same dates. Book two to three weeks ahead for those periods. For ordinary weekday use, same day or next day collection is usually possible.

Delivery, Collection and Handover

Delivery anywhere on the island is free, including to your home, hotel, office or Changi Airport. Child Seats in a Rented Odyssey

Singapore sets the child seat rule by height. Under the Traffic Police child restraint rules, any passenger below 1.35m must be secured in an approved child restraint, and failing to do so is an offence. Taxis have an exemption. Rental cars do not, so the rule applies to your Odyssey exactly as it would to a private car. Traffic Police added the European ECE R129 standard to its approved list in June 2025.

Count the child seats you need and tell us when you reserve the car. Fit them in the second row where possible, and never put a rear facing seat in the front passenger seat of a car with an active airbag. Taking the Odyssey Into Malaysia

For most Singapore families, a long road trip means crossing the Causeway. An MPV car hire for Malaysia road trips makes sense on the four to five hour drive to Kuala Lumpur, when seven people need legroom and the boot has to take everyone’s bags at once.

Every MPV in our fleet is registered for Malaysia’s Vehicle Entry Permit and carries an active RFID tag. That matters. Since July 2025, Malaysia has fined Singapore cars leaving without full VEP registration and held them until the summons is paid. Cross border rental adds a surcharge from S$50 per day, which covers the insurance extension into Peninsular Malaysia and the entry paperwork. Our MPVs can be driven as far as Kuala Lumpur.

Two fuel rules catch first timers. Singapore registered cars must leave through the land checkpoints with at least three quarters of a tank. Foreign registered vehicles cannot buy subsidised RON95 in Malaysia, so budget for RON97 when you fill up across the border. Confirm Malaysia use when you book, because the car has to be cleared for entry before you set off.
